Rooted in Ironwood | Back by Global Experience

Over a decade ago Barb was fortunate to be introduced to Ironwood by dear friends from her home in Sun Valley, Idaho. After just a 30 Day Trial Membership at the Country Club in 2009 she knew this was the place she had been looking for and joined the club as a full member, making Ironwood her new desert home.

After a long and successful real estate career as an Idaho broker and award-winning agent, Barb decided to earn her California Broker's License and continue her career in the community of Ironwood she loves, and where she works as an Associate Broker in the Onsite Office.

Her talent for meeting people and helping them integrate into the community was developed during her years as an officer's daughter in a military family, where moving frequently was a way of life. Everyone in her family was born in a different state or country.  Barbara was born in Coronado, California, a California girl from the start. She has visited every state in the union, lived in many (attending three high schools in three different parts of the country) and spent eight years living in Europe. She taught social studies in Germany to the Department of Defense school students at Stuttgart American High School, and GED classes to American soldiers.

After earning a BA in History and Psychology from Birmingham Southern College (she also attended UCSB, George Washington University, and the College of Idaho over the years) Barbara earned a Masters in Education and Counseling, graduating magna cum laude from Boston University, and has followed through with her education in real estate to become a Global Luxury agent with Coldwell Banker. Her professional achievements continued, including consistently award winning years as a "Top Producer." Coldwell Banker has awarded her the International Sterling Award for exceptional performance in 2019, The President's  She is ranked among the top sales professionals in the network.
